Stop Worrying

Worrying does us absolutely no good. It doesn’t change one thing, and we waste time by being upset over stuff we can’t do anything about, things only God can change.

The Bible says in Matthew 6:27 that we can’t even add one single hour to our life by worrying. Yet, we worry, worry, worry, which gets us nowhere.

Every time we get really upset, it takes a lot of emotional energy, tires us out, messes with our health, steals our joy, and still doesn’t change one thing. We need to stop trying to fix things that only God can fix because the only one who’s clapping is the devil, saying, “Ha, ha, ha! Got ‘em again!”

Jesus tells us to “calm down” in John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. and "cheer up" in John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. I think it’s a one-two knockout punch to the devil when we do. When you realize you can’t fix everything, that calms you down, and when You know that God can, it cheers you up!

So don’t worry. Instead, calm down, cheer up, and send the devil running!

Making A Decision To Forgive

When someone hurts us, we often react as though that individual has stolen something from us. We feel that they owe us, yet God wants us to LET IT GO.

Matthew 6:14-15 “For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.  But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”

Ephesians 4:32 ”Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”

If we refuse to forgive, what hope do we have of receiving what we need? To receive from God what He has promised in His Word, we must OBEY Him, regardless of how difficult it may be. We MUST forgive.

The greatest deception that Satan has perpetuated in the area of forgiveness is the idea that if our feelings have not changed, we have not truly forgiven. When you decide to forgive someone, don’t let the devil convince you that because you still have the same feelings, you have not really forgiven the person.

You can make the right decision to forgive and not “feel” any differently. That is when faith steps in. You have done your part, now WAIT ON GOD. He will do his part and heal your emotions, make you whole and change your feelings toward the person who hurt you.

Relationships are Always Worth Restoring.

1 Corinthians 6:1-11 really had a big impact to me today! For these past few days I had a misunderstanding with my closest friends. It came to a point of totally giving up every precious moments we’ve shared.. I even put on my Facebook status "TAPOS NA….." And one of my friend tweeted finally we had a closure!(Not the exact tweet) It hurts! Sobra!!! Iniyakan ko yung tweet nya na yun…… I wanted to say I’m sorry but don’t know how and where to start

I’m glad you did not give up. You’re making a way how to resolve this almost failing friendship that we built. And yes! Aayusin namin to, walang uuwi bukas ng hindi cleared ang lahat…..

And as I rested on this scripture, It reveals me that Life is all about learning how to love, and God wants us to value relationships and make every effort to maintain them instead of discarding them whenever there is a rift, a hurt or a conflict.

The Apostle Paul taught that our ability to get along with others is a mark of spiritual maturity. Since Christ wants his family to be known for our love for each other, broken fellowship is a disgraceful testimony to unbelievers. This is why Paul was so embarrassed that the members of the church in Corinth were splitting into warring factions and even taking each other to court. He wrote, “I say this to shame you. Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers?” (1 Corinthians 6:5 ) He was shocked that no one in the church was mature enough to resolve the conflict.

If we want God’s blessing on our life and we want to be known as a child of God, we must learn to be a peacemaker. Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God” (Matthew 5:9)

Notice Jesus didn’t say, “Blessed are the peace lovers,” because everyone loves peace. Neither did he say, “Blessed are the peaceable,” who are never disturbed by anything. Jesus said, “Blessed are those who work for peace” - those who actively seek to resolve conflict.

Thank you Carl for always being the Peacemaker in our group(friendship). Thank you for not giving up to each one of us, especially to me :p Sorry for being impatient and hard headed many times. I love you and you know that :) :)

The Reason Jesus Came

There are so many people who have it backwards. They think they can never come to God, can never have a relationship with Him, and can never be a Christian because they have issues in their life that they are trying to overcome first. They are trying to get themselves all straightened out so they can be good enough to have a relationship with Him.

But that’s wrong. The reason Jesus came is because we can never be good enough without Him. We have to have Jesus in our life. His death, His shed blood, paid for our sins, paid the debt that we owed.

There’s no way we can be cleansed of sin until we draw near to God through the name of Jesus. God longs for you to come close to Him. Don’t stay away, believing the lie that you must clean yourself of sin first. Instead, go to God, already cleansed by the sacrifice Jesus made for you. :)

God Knows Your Future

"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know" ——- Jeremiah 33:3

It’s interesting to me the things people will try in order to figure out whats going to happen next: astrology, horoscope, consulting with people etc…

But they are going to the wrong source because the only one who knows what’s going to happen next is God.

God is able to be in the past, the present and the future all at the same time. That should give us great confidence in God. He not only knows about the future, He’s there in the future. He not only walks with us day by day, He can also walk in our future.

If you know that God knows all your tomorrows - today - then you should ask for His advice. The things you dont know, God can tell you about. He’s not going to lay out your whole life all at once, telling you everything that will happen in your life. If He did, you’d likely get discouraged or prideful or both. Instead, He gives it to you a little bit at a time.

When you get up in the morning, go over your schedule with the Lord and pray:

Father, You’ve already seen this day that i’m about to experience. Tell me the things that are important today and then help me to focus on them. In Jesus mighty name. Amen

HAVE A GREAT DAYY!!!! :) :) :)
